I bought this gauge because it is highly rated, it's made in the USA, it doesn't require batteries, and it's very reasonably priced. I'm very glad I did. There is a small collar around the air intake, almost like a fountain, that helps align the device so it fits snugly against the tire valve. This makes pressure measurement much easier.
