You MUST mount the DVR on a suction cup for easy rotation. Many reviewers state that you can't move it manually. I found a trick that works. Place the camera on the suction cup as intended and voila! This windshield mount is perfect for my 3rd gen Rexing V1 and works great in my car. I can adjust it to the right angle to turn the dashcam left or right if I want to capture something that isn't visible in front of me. For $6 I went ahead and ordered two more in case it breaks or gets lost.
