🔩 Enhanced Suction Cup Mount for Rexing V1, V1 3rd Gen, V1P, V3 Review

You MUST mount the DVR on a suction cup for easy rotation. Many reviewers state that you can't move it manually. I found a trick that works. Place the camera on the suction cup as intended and voila! This windshield mount is perfect for my 3rd gen Rexing V1 and works great in my car. I can adjust it to the right angle to turn the dashcam left or right if I want to capture something that isn't visible in front of me. For $6 I went ahead and ordered two more in case it breaks or gets lost.

This new suction cup windscreen mount is a long awaited solution to the only downside of buying an amazing Rexing V1 DVR. I have three. In hot climates with high UV levels, the adhesive tape included in the kit for attaching your V1 to your car's windshield will crack from the heat and the unit will fall over. First of all, attaching it to a Rexing camera is next to impossible as there is no secure locking mechanism. Essentially, the user has to force it into the camera through a puzzle-like slotted joint that's not guaranteed to stay even if it appears to be attached. Second, the angle mechanism is weak, so the camera doesn't stay in place. I installed the V1 unit in my car and bought a separate suction cup so I could alternatively install it in my truck. The mount has a dense, durable design with excellent suction and attaches securely to the windshield. The rotatable mounting hole for V1 fits perfectly and fixes the dash cam very well. TWO cam levers (help with suction) seem to break in the area around the cross pin after only a few months and we can only get "suction" for about three (3) weeks. I travel a lot for work and like to take my camera with me. I bought this mainly for travel and that purpose and that's the only reason I would suggest this.
