This mount does exactly what it says on the tin. It attaches the V1 dash cam to the windshield with a suction cup. This allows you to rotate the camera 360 degrees and adjust the tilt so you can see the screen properly from any angle (see photos). It's a bit bulky and puts the camera farther from the windshield, but video clarity isn't an issue. If you're worried about the charger taking up space for your phone's charger, don't buy a separate splitter. If you turn the connector around at the front, you have a USB output (see photo). You'll also find a fairing removal tool in the box in case you want to hide the wiring. There are many videos showing this process. Be sure to buy a memory card with high endurance, designed for DVRs and home surveillance cameras.
