I bought this as I'm a young professional in town who needs to work from home due to the pandemic and regularly commutes between my home and my family's home travels I usually connect my work laptop to a monitor to get an extra screen and when I get back to my family I always wrap the monitor in bubble wrap to take in the car. This is a very convenient option for traveling with a monitor, eliminating the need to seal and rip the bubble wrap every time. All sides surrounding the case are padded so there is some protection. The case is slightly larger than the advertised size; I would buy a few sizes to try with your monitor and then return others if you decide. While this model is said to fit up to 24" monitors, my 27" monitor fits perfectly in the case. Also, I still find I need to carry the monitor stand and base in a separate bag, and I also put all my tech cables in that separate bag, but it's still much more convenient to have that bag for the monitor itself. and I don't mind a second small pocket for the cable, base and stand. Overall, I'm very happy I made this purchase and I don't regret it. It's worth it.
