Review on 🐱 Feliway Plug-in Diffuser Refill for Cats - Enhancing Calm and Comfort" by Amy Lucero

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Feliway definitely keeps the three cats in harmony

The diffuser with the new filling that I just ordered is back in the "cattery" at my house. A day after installation, all three cats again chose to sleep in that room, at the same time. Three cats in three baskets sleep peacefully and in a more harmonious relationship. The two males that snuck onto my bed to sleep at night decided to spend the whole night in their baskets in the nursery. So I came to the conclusion that this product definitely has a positive effect on my animals. Luckily I haven't had any cases of spraying or abuse of the cat box, so I don't have any information on using Feliway to solve this problem. For what it's worth, following the advice from the cat book, I replaced one of my three cat boxes with a very, very large, flat, rubber-lined basket to store under the bed. Cats love it and very rarely use other standard sized litter boxes. An update to my previous review below: My last reserve Feliway container was empty in mid-November and my three furry friends got along great, spitting attacks were minimal and all three are in my home office that doubles as a kennel. Looks like I won't have to buy another refill. However, I noticed changes in the behavior of the cats: the turtle is more prone to hissing, followed by fistfights, and one of the males is definitely waiting to provoke trouble. They no longer sleep in the same room. So this is proof, albeit not conclusive, that the Feliway Diffuser really has a positive impact on the harmonious relationship of my four-legged friends, which is why I am placing a new order today. My neighbor's neutered fox bought me as an owner and was "the only cat". almost one year. When I adopted some young and violent neutered male dogs, Sussie became very depressed, lost her appetite and hid in the closet under the sink the whole time. A series of tests performed by the vet showed that she was physically fine, so the conclusion was feline depression caused by the loss of pure feline status. I was fortunate that none of the cats were sprayed or tagged and there were no issues with litter box abuse. I bought a dispenser from Feliway and hooked it up to a room that serves as a "nursery" for two young males. Little by little I started introducing Sussie into the room with the males. Six weeks later, all three cats are sleeping in the same room. Sassy's unkindness towards children has dropped by about 60 percent: she still hisses and hits them, but allows her to touch her nose, and now she openly enters the room they live in without sneaking around the walls. I have no way of scientifically testing how well cats would handle their hostility without Feliway, so I'm limiting my Feliway rating to four stars. Sassy still hasn't regained all the sparkle and friendliness she used to show as a single cat, but at least she's stopped hiding and is showing enough confidence to defend her favorite scratching post spot instead of running for cover. . I'm buying another Feliway supplement in hopes I don't have to use it all the time. As a side note, I also bought the spray for my vet travel box and am very happy with its calming effects.
