My shop is in my basement and I had suffered long enough with the traditional loud compressor. I ordered this 6 gallon pancake compressor based on the size and good reviews. It has been a life changer in the shop, no more dreading when it kicks in. I can have a conversation and still hear my talk radio as well. The compressor arrived in good shape and still had a bit of air left in it from testing at the factory. There is another brand on here that sells quiet compressors but there are way too many reviews indicating poor quality parts, overheating, and fires. I use this compressor every day all day in my work and have had no issues. I'm very satisfied.Update: February 2020 and still running strong with daily use. I've had no repairs.
