Portable And Powerful: Campbell Hausfeld 6 Gallon Quiet Air Compressor For DIY And Professionals Review

I had no idea. I mean it says "quiet compressor," but this really is SO MUCH quieter than the ear splitting little monster I was using before. Working around this in confines of my garage is a pleasure. My old one almost looks new since I avoided running it as much as possible. This one won't get to be so lazy, but it also feels like the quality is up for the job.

Got this today and let me tell you son it’s quite. filled it up and I’m going to let it sit over night and all day tomorrow to see long term pressure decrease. Sprayed with soapy water and no bubbles! Only bad thing I really see is the handle to pull or push with is really short. For a y’all man myself it’s really uncomfortable to pull or push but that’s a easy fix if you have a creative mind! Over all great compressor, I’ll give it hell and update after I use it for a while.

My shop is in my basement and I had suffered long enough with the traditional loud compressor. I ordered this 6 gallon pancake compressor based on the size and good reviews. Just wow. I've owned a few oiless compressors before but they were so loud. Omg I could literally have a phone conversation while sitting on this thing without any issues. Lol. Very quite and alot in a small package.

Well, my old unit was the compressor from hell. It was so loud when it recharged that It would scare me and I would drop my air tool, draw back and was ready to punch the closest person standing next to me, but not with this CH unit as it is so much quieter. Great product from Campbell Hausfeld. I have a Campbell Hausfeld 120v Farmhand Mig Welder, that I've had for about 25 yrs now and have never had a minutes problem with. So I figured that I could not go wrong with theircompressor and I was right, this compressor is super quite compared to the Kobalt. I use this compressor every daywith all kind of different air tools and it handles them all with ease. My only complaint is that it is made in CHINAplease come back to the USA !

Great value for the low price. You probably won't find another 6 gallon compressor with 125 psi at this price point. It's pretty loud but not too bad. Comes with a built in quick release as well as a drain valve, wheels and a handle

Great Compressor, but very poor quality control. I've attached a couple pics, the handle was welded on very crooked. It's going back for a replacement, hopefully the next one will be better.

I'm quite pleased with this unit. I've had a CH compressor for about 24 years and it was great except for the noise. It finally developed leaks and it was time to replace it. I wanted to stay with CH. I bought this based upon the reviews on it's low noise. I use it only for air in tires, a brad nailer, and my airbrushes. It works great for that and the best part is the wife can't hear it in the house. A real plus.

Really quiet when compared to most compressors with larger tanks, compact for under counter storage concerns, and decent pressure delivery.I’ve only used it for filling tires so far, and have not needed it yet for any of my air tools.I am positive it will be fine for air nailers and maybe light air wrenches, but have yet to try it with an impact wrench.With a 6 gallon tank, it has to cycle much more frequently than I am accustomed to, but it fills back up in a very reasonable amount of time

Where was this when I purchased my other compressor? It is as quiet as stated. A bit heavy but this the quality of the unit. Very impressed, as are my friends who I have shown it to and boosted a bit.
