Does exactly what we need - allows us to quickly display the slides found. Much better than keeping them in the light. The listing could have given more detail about the USB cable - it is included in the box and we only had to add a USB wall mount to power it. This is a big plus compared to those that only have batteries and no USB power supply. We were surprised that the screen/sight glass got dirty. We can clean the outside but it looks like as if there were stains inside. Likely, better factory quality control is required. Since we only use it to quickly decide which slides to send for scanning, it still works great for us. Happy with the price.
