Very easy to assemble and put away. It just pops up and bam you're done. To fold it up, turn it sideways and press down like an accordion, it folds up very easily. It looks like a little tourist tent with all the flaps and zippers, so cute! The cats loved playing in it when I first took it out. It's big enough for 2 and one of them is quite big. I wouldn't put the litter box in both cats, but that's just my opinion. The hammock parts may be strong enough to support a kitten, but the structure started collapsing when my big boy tried to climb on it. It had an odd plastic smell so one of my cats peed on it due to territorial issues. But it is quite easy to clean by a miracle of nature. It's a good thing that the felt pads on the underside prevent urine from getting onto the carpet. I used it for a long car ride and ended up with the wire posts sticking out of the top of the body. As long as the cats stay in the tent it's fine, but they have a habit of walking on it while it's in the back seat causing it to collapse. Maybe the reason why it broke in the first place. pleasant surprises in the package. The tote bag has all sorts of extra pockets that you can use to store a plate of food, a treat, or something else. It comes with small stakes and loops at each bottom corner so you can anchor it to the ground (like a tent) and it won't be blown away. Overall this is a great product, I will continue to use it when I go camping with my cats or want to give them some downtime during the day.
