I bought this ignition module, my old module was fine. I just wanted new parts from my dealer for my Motor Marine 454. A few months later I had play through the carburetor. Tried everything, new fuel pump, spark plugs, new spark plug wires, never thought it was that new module. When I stopped the engine I accelerated to 3000 rpm and the time should have gone to 24-30 degrees BTDC. Time hasn't moved at all. I brought back my original GM ignition module which was 25 years old when time shifted normally under acceleration. The boat stopped going through the carburetor when I removed this module and put in my original module. It's a piece of junk!
