Withstands high temperatures

I use olive oil to coat the tortillas that I fry in the pan. My old brush couldn't handle the heat of the hot pan and the bristles melted. In addition, it is easier to clean than the old brush. I'm only using a small brush at the moment, but I'm sure I'll be using a big one as well. Very happy with the purchase.
