These seals are not manufactured correctly. The shaft diameter that these seals must seal is .746 inch. The original plastic sleeves are .749 inch in diameter. The seals you supplied me with the plastic bushing are both .770" in diameter which is .024 larger than the shaft. The seals held pressure until the shaft was lowered slightly onto the seal. Excessive play on the shaft caused the power steering to leak.The groove that the gasket sits in may be larger than the diameter but I can't measure it without cutting the thing in half, but I suspect the gasket doesn't leak as easily otherwise becomes.
