I had to replace my original speakers because they fell apart after so many years. It was a great replacement and along with a youtube video they were easy to install. You have to disassemble almost the entire laptop, but I'm not afraid to disassemble it. The only thing is that the cabling is a bit longer than it should be and when I closed my laptop one of the cables got kinked and broke. Luckily I can solder and was able to fix it. WARNING: Tuck the cable underneath to avoid damaging the cables when closing the bottom panel.
