Not all copper is suitable for cables and connections
The cable received has worked properly for about four months. My SRD receiver had a 35-40dBFS signal, which then dropped to 20dBFS. Troubleshooting and due to previous cable issues, this cable is NOT rated for outdoor use. The shield is made of aluminum. everything was corroded, including the end connection. Center conductor is copper plated aluminum but in good condition. Reports from other users mentioned that everything was copper, this was not the cable I received.
