Under Armor uses different sizing than most brands, so be sure to check the size chart. I'm a size L (14-16) and I would say it's just right. With children's clothing, large is often a size 10-12, so I figured it would fit my daughter's 10/12. It's pretty big for her, so oh. The good news is that the drawstring actually works, so now she can wear them by tightening the drawstring and tying it tight. She loves the signature logo (it's the favorite brand of the sporty kids she hangs out with) and the light, airy shorts. She plays lacrosse but these are good for any sport. These are regular shorts that girls can move around in and given the elastic waistband (and the ability to tie it even tighter) this is a pair that she can wear for a few years. highlighted.
