My hair doesn't dry faster or look any better with this dryer than it does with the cheap perennial Conair it replaced. It's also heavy, very noisy and the concentrator attachment isn't good - the barrel bore isn't quite round and doesn't match. (I managed to get it in once and had to use tools to get it out again.) It's not particularly hot, although it blows a lot of air very quickly, enough to completely tangle my hair before it even started to dry.
