I was very happy with everything about this set except for a few things. To power the camera, you need to connect the vehicle wiring. The wire is very thin and very difficult to work with. I have a set of small wire strippers that aren't even small enough to strip the wire properly. When I finally stripped it with wire cutters, twisting to coil the wire and connect it to another wire resulted in some of the wire's individual strands breaking. I had to use another wire which I connected to it and then attached to my car with lots of tape to secure everything. Now that it's plugged in it really works, the drill bit is the perfect size and comes with angle washers. So if your mounting point doesn't fit the angle you want, you can adjust the angle where you need it by turning the washers. The field of view is pretty narrow, but I wanted the camera to only be aimed at my trailer receiver so it worked great for my needs. And yes, night vision works just as well as any cheap night vision camera.
