STINK bristles: cleaner
I soaked the brush in hot water with dish soap and the bristles still smelled awful. It doesn't feel like a chemical smell, more like something rotting. I threw away the brush because I wouldn't brush vegetables with such an item, and I wouldn't even use a brush to clean the house. Pooh.
