A coffee maker for those who love original mid-century versions

I consider myself very knowledgeable about coffee makers, having been using vintage models for the past six years. Percolators from the 1950s and 60s were highly polished and elegantly designed. I tried three of these before finally buying a new one. I chose this model and made the right choice. Here's why I love coffee makers and how this model is rated: 1) Great tasting coffee. I've always preferred the percolator flavor. This model doesn't have brew strength settings like some vintage models, but the manufacturer's settings are perfect for my taste. 2) Beautiful appearance compared to automatic drip irrigation. This model is ok but not as shiny and "trendy" in design as the original, but cute 3) No need to spend money on filters. Don't worry about dioxin from paper filters or paper affecting the taste. less garbage. Applied here! 4) Nice sounding WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good! YELL! When the coffee is heated, this can be seen in the transparent lid with bubbles. Used here except West Bend uses a plastic bell cap instead of glass. On the one hand, that's better because you don't have to worry about it breaking, but I prefer that my hot coffee doesn't come into contact with the plastic. never mind 5) You can put a coffee maker filled with hot coffee on the table, unlike the glass coffee pot of an automatic dripper. So if you want to have fun or grab a "pot" of coffee, just unplug it. Then pull the plug out of the coffee maker. This model does just that! 6) No coffee splashing or spilling when pouring! The spout of this coffee maker is perfect for precision. When I poured from an automatic drip can, there was almost always a little spill, no matter how carefully I poured. Please note that you cannot immerse the percolator in water. I recommend using filtered water to improve the flavor of your coffee and extend the life of your coffee maker. I wash mine by rinsing with hot water and windexing the outside if needed. I haven't had any problems with extensions. Inside is stainless steel, so it washes very well. I am very happy with my purchase.
