Review on RUKO 106209 Bi Metal Hole Arbor by Mark Jefferson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Deutsche Maschinenfabrik

8" hole saw previously purchased from another supplier/country, pins and saw blade did not match so returned. Hole saw kit ordered from Ruko, discount box damaged, missing mandrel arrived yesterday , went to manufacturers website, looked at saw blade and compatible mandrels, went back to Revain, found the part delivered 5 minutes ago The blade fits like a knife in oil.On two parts made at different times, the demonstrates Work so clearly quality control in the process and quality control in the product. You need a hole saw. That's Ruko. Maybe a few bucks more but you know it will work when you get it. The pins are built into the mandrel, to keep them from falling out Threads fully tightened Durability unknown but should know how it works today and update the review. Worked like a champ, used a 1/2" impact drill in drill mode, applied light pressure and paused a few times to check the hole was being cut evenly. Cut through chipboard less than 1 inch thick, no smoke or fire. The secret to hole cutting is taking your time and giving it breaks to cool down. My drill didn't have a handle but I had no problem holding it, but that might depend on the material you're cutting. , Thicker/harder woods will take longer to cool or use the specified coolants listed in the chart on the Ruko hole saw manufacturer's website. Two holes isn't a problem, but for work I'd happily buy an 8" but that's irrelevant to the product rating. and also on me.
