Item arrived quickly (but delayed due to carrier's fault not seller) Did exactly what I needed, reconnected the exhaust pipe to the muffler. It seems that someone who put a custom exhaust on my F-150 used "aluminized pipe" but burned off the coating in the welds. This allowed rust at every hinge and hanger. This caused the muffler to rust. Now I sanded all the rust off and repainted with high temperature paint. This fitting allowed me to just slide it into the muffler and install the exhaust pipe inside. Also used a stainless steel band clamp and pinned to the connection. Saved hundreds by NOT going to a muffler shop and reselling the new "cat-back" system.
