Review on 🧽 32 oz. Optimum No Rinse Wash and Shine - NR2010Q by Carlos Massey

Based on several positive reviews, I was hoping for something that I would enjoy washing the car. Not at all what I expected. I have cleaned and detailed many cars with other products that have worked much better. I've already started buying this product as I saw the hype surrounding the "no flush" claims. Buyers need to understand something, unless your vehicle has absolutely no substrate surface contaminants, the ozone is clean and pollution free, the water you used for your vehicle contained no dissolved solids that passed through the DI filtration system, and your cleaning products also showed no contamination on the wipes or the pads, THEN AND ONLY THEN the user never has to rinse. All these positive reviews just confuse me. Apart from the pleasant chewing gum smell that the product contains, I really have nothing to fault with this product. Not only are the stains left behind more numerous than with my previous car cleaners, they are also more difficult to buff out due to an unknown chemical in this product. Whatever it is, it does a terrible job on auto glass, leaving a distinct haze that even a light polish cannot remove. My ratio/mixture matches the directions on the bottle. As a water source, I used 55 tds/ppm warm water. Most of the hard water minerals found in my water are typical of urban households. I'll just go back to clean water and use a mild car wash again because it really has less water usage and no cloudiness that way. On the positive side and confirming my stars I really like the smell of this product so will keep it. As Marie Kondo would say, "If it makes you happy, keep it."
