I used them to replace the stock pads on my Sapphire Nitro+ RX 480 8GB. The VRM temperature increased from a maximum of about 79 degrees Celsius with standard pads to a maximum of about 75 degrees with these new pads. According to HWInfo64, the average VRM temperature was also about 5 degrees cooler. I ended up just using the thickest of the three sizes (1.5mm) and using a total of 2 whole spacers to cover all the required components (I just put the new spacers in place of the old ones). The pads are easy to cut and hold well enough that everything can be screwed in without shifting, but I wouldn't trust the adhesive on these pads to hold the heatsink on an m.2 SSD without screws or anything.
