The base is larger than I expected but fits flush against the corner of the table

has been damaged so the base is about 15 inches wide. It is located in the corner of the table in the shape of the letter "V". I use this for a 25 inch monitor in portrait mode. so it fits on my desk next to my main monitor. The stand was easy to assemble. Allen keys came with the stand, all I needed was a Phillips head screwdriver. I like it. That works fine. Other reviews say that the screws have to be constantly tightened with an Allen key to keep them in a certain position, I haven't had such a problem. The price was good.
