Home Office 2020 on monitor arms

The good thing about the COVID-19 lockdown was that I now work 100% from home. My employer provided a laptop and a monitor. Unfortunately, in 2018, when high-tech desks began appearing in the office, monitor stands were jettisoned. The HUANUO Single Stand fits my desktop and monitor perfectly. Easy installation, with two screw sizes offered to attach the plate to the monitor. Don't worry about a screw that is too long that could damage your monitor. As for full amplitude I have no opinion, mine

Not suitable for heavy monitors

I'm not sure how heavy my monitor is, but this one can't stand it. I can't tighten the clamp enough to keep the monitor from sagging. So my monitor is actually installed at an angle on the base. Not what I was looking for, but it works. The way this device works is nothing out of the ordinary - I've tried other stands - same design. I don't know if there's anything that's really capable of holding a heavy monitor as they all seem to depend on how tight you can tighten the friction based system.

The base is bigger than I expected but it fits right on the corner of the table

so the base is about 15 inches wide. It is located in the corner of the table in the shape of the letter "V". I use it for a 25 inch monitor in portrait mode. so it fits on my desk next to my main monitor. The stand was easy to assemble. Allen keys came with the stand, all I needed was a Phillips head screwdriver. I like it. That works fine. One problem, the crooked hinge.

Almost all metal except for some parts of the tensioner. Great solid footrest and very solid with one issue. The connection that controls the monitor's tilt is loose and difficult to tighten enough to prevent a large-screen device or device with some weight from sagging and sliding over time. I use a 22 inch monitor that only weighs 4-6 pounds and even that wanted to slide off at first.
