I received poverty codes P0171 and P0174 on mine.
I got poverty codes P0171 and P0174 on my E46 330i and double checked to make sure it wasn't oxygen sensors or a vacuum leak . After doing a lot of research and diagnostics, I decided to replace the MAF. A few weeks passed and the machine stopped giving out codes. It also seems to have fewer dead spots throughout the rev range and a little more bottom-end punch.
