I just received my case. I have Best Buy Prime 2 day shipping. If you don’t count the weekend it took three days to arrive. When I opened it I discovered that it wasn’t as sturdy (thick and heavy) as the one I bought 4 years ago. I decided I would give it a try anyway. When I took it out of the plastic I discovered two places where the bonded leather had already come off. I have initiated the return and replacement of it. Because my MacBook is four years old now, there aren’t as many choices for cases as there were originally. I really wanted one that covers where I will be placing the palms of my hands while typing. This seems to be the only one I can find on line, so I am willing to give it a shot. However, after seeing it I am not confident it will last as long as the first one I bought originally given the one they sent was already defective. I will also say the first one I bought was over twice what I paid for this one. One can only assume there is going to be a quality difference when you pay $16 in stead of $40.
