In fact my hair got worse after using this product than without it. I swim every day and the ends of my hair are damaged and very knotted (I need a haircut!) so I was hoping this would help but it didn't. I spritzed a light to medium-strength spray all over my hair while it was still damp (almost wet) and brushed it through. It did nothing for my tangles and after my hair dried it was flat and limp and felt a bit like sand. I've used Clairol over-the-counter leave-in conditioners, which worked better than this one.
