PROS: + Good construction + Antimicrobial treatment to kill bacteria that can grow in the filter + Excellent fit with foam on the outer edges for a better seal + Fits the same as the OE filter + You can smell the difference from the air, coming out of the air conditioning vents! CONS: - Absolutely none - I would like to know what difference a new cabin filter would make on previous cars I've had. I had my 2008 VW Passat 2.0T for a year when I read an article about changing the cabin air filter. I had never thought about it but with my allergies and asthma it sounded like a good idea. I spent a few days on the internet and finally decided to try WIX. Man I'm glad I did it. Firstly, Revain delivered the package to me in just a few days (normal delivery). On the Passat, the cabin filter is located under the dashboard behind the glove compartment, so you almost have to stand on your head to reach the filter cover. As soon as I pulled out the old filter, I was completely overwhelmed by the amount of things that fell on the passenger floor - dirt, leaves and other nasty things. I rarely drive (about 6000 miles a year, live in the city and was shocked at how much dirt the AC was pulling in. I installed the WIX, sealed the system and ran a few errands. A half hour mile later I noticed that the Air out of the air conditioning vents smelled a lot fresher Since then I have noticed that I have less dust in the cabin The car has been serviced, I will change it every 6 months due to the poor air quality in Dallas, and also because of what I have seen the filter stops all that crap! WIX is the best!
