Works well once broken in. Initially, the spring pulling it back in was very stiff, making it very difficult to pull it out; but after some use it became loose which isn't too bad as my 5 year old snaps easily enough now with little effort. I only gave it four stars instead of five because it doesn't open with one hand, as you have to pull and hold the screen with one hand and then snap the bottom of the tab on the edge of the screen onto the latch with the other side or it doesn't fit properly and can slip from time to time. The handle also needs to be set in the middle of the screen so that it can slide out and back in, as trying to do this when set at the top of the screen will cause it to get stuck. So I have to bend down to be alright. Finally, you will likely want/need to replace the supplied screws and anchors with longer ones and/or not drill as large a pilot hole as suggested, as using the suggested pilot hole size and supplied screws caused it to snap out of the wall when you tripped over it .
