A decent improvement over your regular running shoes

I ordered these shoes after speaking to a colleague who has been wearing them for years. I have suffered from plantar fasciitis and arch problems for many years so choosing shoes is a difficult process for me and I rarely buy shoes without trying them on first. In this case, the recommendations I received were strong enough that I decided to try them. I love the style of these shoes; They look great with jeans or even khakis when worn with casual shirts or t-shirts. Grey-olive colour. That's no exaggeration; You won't feel like a dumb ninja from the mall wearing them. The canvas is heavy and they feel well made. They're surprisingly comfortable (so far) considering they didn't have much padding when I took them out of the box. I usually wear regular width shoes (9.5) and Skechers is my favorite casual shoe brand, but I will buy wide width shoes if available (no luck this time). These shoes are a bit tight for me but they are also a little long in the toes so I couldn't order a size up. I think they will stretch a bit and end up being comfortable enough for everyday wear. They don't have any noticeable arch support, so I'll use the inserts to take care of that. Unfortunately I can't wear them outside yet because the laces that come with the boots are so short for some reason. that I can't tie them properly! Oddly enough, I assume they only used low laces with high boots. In other words, a small quality control problem. I contact the company hoping they can supply me with longer laces in the right color (because I couldn't find the right laces at any local store). I'll update as soon as I can wear them during the day and see how they work for me.
