Good scale - Uniform touchpads make work easier

I've been using this little scale two to three times a day for years. And because they get a lot of use, they tend to break after a while. I think I go through about one a year on average. The button cover usually wears out, and food or liquid eventually gets into the electronics and interferes with its operation. So that this doesn't happen again (I hope), I bought this one - without buttons. "Buttons" are touch sensors under a single flat glass cover. This will definitely prevent my previous problem from happening. The scale is accurate as far as I can tell, but my only gripe is the delay in the tare button. I usually move around pretty quickly in the kitchen, and it takes about a second between touching the "Tare" button and the readings being reset. It's not an inaccuracy, it's just a delay that slows me down a bit because I don't want to turn on the next dish until the reading is 0.0. If that's all I can complain about then I really have nothing to complain about. but it's enough for me to knock down a star that means "I like" instead of "I like". At the same time, I'm grateful for that as I no longer have to worry about button covers tearing through normal wear and tear. Low profile / doesn't take up much space. Cleans super easily. highlighted.
