We were planning to add these handles to the laundry room and master bathroom doors in our new home. All other hardware is brushed nickel and we thought the stainless steel finish would look nice against the dark stain on our doors. It turns out that the spot welds that attach the rear to the toe link are visible as discoloration on the surface. We ordered 2. One was ok. One was discolored as shown in the photo. We sent one back for exchange. Revain sent a replacement the next day and it was also discolored from welding. We decided to paint both parts and see how they look before installing them.
