Our camping days are pretty much over, but the need for hot water is always there. I have tried portable units that barely gave us lukewarm water after many attempts to get the thing to finally stay lit, so this is a huge step up. Hooking it up to the outdoor hose and I have all the hot water I could wish for, and the dog is happy to get warm baths instead of cold in summer.We have been through times when ice storms or summer storms knocked out the power, and the only way we could get hot water was by heating it on the stove. I don't like to carry pots with hot water around, it is dangerous. This unit is such a life saver in that I can run it inside next to an open window if need be or just outside if the weather is agreeable. And it gets the water HOT, not just lukewarm.
