not sure what I was expecting but trying to use this with multiple Actiontec ECB6200 MoCA adapters failed brilliantly. The adapters originally came with a pair of 2-way splitters included in their respective boxes and they worked great. The coax lights came on, the connection was made, and it's been rock solid for weeks. So I wanted to expand the system with other MoCA devices, but unfortunately this 8-way splitter just didn't exist. I replaced the original 2x 2-way splitter setup with this one, disconnected all unused connections, and although the coax LEDs lit up, the ethernet devices attached to the MoCAs refused to stay connected for any significant amount of time. They just dropped every few seconds and the connection was practically useless. I replaced this original 8-track 2x2 track setup and it's working fine again. Maybe it has something to do with the relatively high signal-to-noise ratio this box produces, or something else I can't explain." I can't explain it, but it just doesn't work. Well, at least I only have one few dollars.
