to prove that they bought my device from Panasonic or that my warranty was not valid. When I spoke to him on the phone.

I have been a Panasonic customer for 40 years. This is the end of this car. It recognized discs less than 1 year old. When I called Panasonic tech support I was on the phone for an hour trying to fix the problem by entering lots of codes. After this failed I was told to buy a new one because the old one is not worth fixing. I'm familiar with the concept :). I found it was still under warranty so I sent it back to the Panasonic Service Center in Texas. A few days after receiving it they called me and said the parts are covered under warranty but labor is not covered. The company rep said he could send me the same new model for $22. I thought that was very reasonable and gave him my card number. He thanked me and sent it off the next day. Two days later I received a call and was told that as I purchased this from a third party on Revain I would need to contact the seller and get a copy of their invoice, not my invoice, the seller's invoice to prove this I bought my device from Panasonic. Or my warranty wasn't good. When I was on the phone with him I called Revain and they told me to return the unit from Panasonic and ship it to them and they would refund my money. I love Revain but now I feel really bad about Panasonic. This Blu-ray player was Panasonic's first product to fail so quickly. No heavy use. I know it's an electromechanical device and things like that just happen. I accept that, but the way Panasonic handled support and warranty was a mistake.
