The Scarpa Kailash Plus boots are very durable and well made. Good firm underfoot and heel support but very light for this type of boot. Men's boots are narrow, but also available in a "wide" version. However, as far as we can tell, women's shoes are not made in two sizes (see manufacturer's website), despite being on Revain's lists. We ordered two pairs of shoes from Revain, both of which were listed as 'wide', but in both cases we received shoes and boxes with no such markings. It didn't matter as the width wasn't too narrow and the larger of the two fitted well. I think it's more likely that they have the same lasts and boots as regular men, only they're marked in women's sizes, so wider than women's boots, although they're not marked as such. I think that for a larger size, you can downsize and order a wide men's boot. These are really great boots.
