I have long, semi-curly hair and have been using a flat iron for as long as I can remember. If you have used it then you know that straightening long hair takes time. One person who likes to wash their hair every day (I mean I have to as I sweat a lot during my workout) is just a time consuming daily routine that I don't really like. I have many hair tools to deal with my long curly hair and I know that not all hair products work as advertised. I was obviously skeptical when I asked about it. I figured I could at least use this as a touch up because even after using a flat iron to straighten my hair, it tends to frizz up once they get close to anyone. Humidity. As a result, I often have to straighten my hair again with a flat iron or hair dryer before leaving my room, which is very inconvenient. Imagine my surprise when I lightly tested this comb, it did a really good job of straightening all my hair. in less than a tenth of the time it would take to use an iron. By light testing I mean literally going through my hair without spending too much time on each comb. First, it heats up to the desired temperature very quickly, literally in seconds. It is significantly heavier than a normal brush, maybe like a normal hair dryer? In my case, it straightens my hair in record time. It might not be as straight or silky as a straightener, but the time savings couldn't be beat. I also liked that it heats up to 450 degrees compared to the 350-375 degrees of my other irons. I would definitely recommend this, especially for people like me who spend endless amounts of time using a straightener on curly or semi-curly hair!
