Was hoping that the "UPDATE" of the absolutely amazing Plantronic FOCUS original could be somehow better. no Poly made them cheaper but lost their appeal. What I liked best about the old FOCUS is basically gone. PROS: Noise cancellation is definitely better than the old FOCUS! It's all worth mentioning. DISADVANTAGES: The first octave is no longer present. The old FOCUS picked up every note with ease. Not loud enough. I found the old FOCUS model played adequately. FOCUS 2 is hardly suitable for music. The conference call should work fine. The almost polished user controls are gone. In that old FOCUS, the controls were tactile and spaced apart. And a pleasure to use. FOCUS 2 has lost all of its appeal with the 3-button, single-listener method. Plantronics' old "HUB" desktop software has been replaced by Poly's "Lens" app, which I found clunky by comparison. To think that I paid more for her. Now I'm considering other brands, having been a die-hard Plantronics fan.
