Excellent noise cancellation but poor mic sound

Very comfortable to wear and great functionality. Over-ear headphones are good for noise cancellation. The problem, however, is that the microphone is VERY tinny. To the point that it was a deal breaker for me unless I was missing a setting, but if so why is it BAD by default? Will play with the settings and change the rating when I get it working.

The noise canceling microphone is AWESOME!

So I bought these because I work remotely and my kids (1 and 4) are incredibly loud even if they only hear echoes from the other room. I tested them with my kids and husband in a tiled kitchen - the kids drove the toy cars loudly while I carried them, and eventually my incredibly loud baby cries stopped. and you barely heard anything on the webex recording I made. I was surprised. That's great! Definitely buy if you need the other end of the line to sound quiet in a noisy environment!

Uses USB-C for charging and Bluetooth

Love the headset and all of its features. It is comfortable and does not hurt the ears even after wearing it for a long time. (I wear glasses and some headsets are so snug on my ears that they hurt after wearing them - and I don't have a big head...LOL) I know a lot of electronic devices are transitioning to using USB-C ports. It's even in the product name... but if you're using this headset on your laptop with a docking station, please make sure the docking station port isn't ONLY blocking the

Make the old version of FOCUS shine!

Was hoping that the "UPDATE" of the absolutely amazing Plantronic FOCUS original could be somehow better. no Poly made them cheaper but lost their appeal. What I liked best about the old FOCUS is basically gone. PROS: Noise cancellation is definitely better than the old FOCUS! It's all worth mentioning. DISADVANTAGES: The first octave is no longer present. The old FOCUS picked up every note with ease. Not loud enough. I found the old FOCUS model played adequately. FOCUS 2 is hardly suitable for

  • Holding my fists
Cons
  • Operating speed

I won't list all the pluses, they can be found in the video. Instead, I'll focus on all the cons: 1. The microphone only extends 3 inches, so it's very quiet. The manual says: flex the mic (don't do this, the instructions are wrong) until the mic boom is 2 fingers away. Well, the mic on this headset is not adjustable and the mic is 3.5 fingers from the edge of my mouth. I wear it as usual and am a typical medium height man with a typical head. -2 stars for bad microphone sound and not revised…

Overwhelmed - couldn't be happier.

I am full-time VFH. My newborn is 3 months old. I spend a lot of time in meetings. This solved all my problems. My colleagues really appreciate being able to hear me and hardly crying the baby. I estimate that background noise from the microphone is reduced by about 95%. My coworkers hated calling me because they knew there was a 50/50 chance they would hear me about a crying baby. If he's yelling at maximum volume, they can still hear him, but barely, and it no longer affects my ability to be…

Even better than the original in caller noise reduction

I used a previous 2016 Voyager Focus. It has served me reliably and well on many business trips and has withstood the whole day of daily work from home. However, the battery was getting old and needed charging between calls and sometimes during calls (using the USB cable). Also, the piece of plastic holding the earcups to the side started popping out (seems to be a common thing). I solved the plastic problem with Gorilla Clear Tape but couldn't replace the battery myself. So I decided to buy a…

Just plug and play, no great range or noise cancellation for the user

I took a chance because it's a new version and such and decided to keep it for now because they mean it corresponds to wishes. too, but the price is a little expensive for the value. Pros: - Easy plug and play on Macbook Pro. Just plug in the USB dongle, change the source to a headset and you're done. It's light and doesn't really bother me. I had calls for more than 4 hours and it was ok if it stayed that long. - Not bad for the "outgoing" ambient noise cancellation for those on the call, not…

Great wireless headset for working from home all the time

I was working from home (full or part time) well before COVID and my previous headset was the Jabra Evolve II mono (one ear). I liked it for many reasons: it's light and comfortable, but at the same time it lets me hear what's going on around the house, it sounds great, and the mic sounds great to others, and the easy mute/unmute is amazing. The downside, however, is that it's wired, and if I have to get up to fill my drink or open the door or whatever, I either have to take off my headset or…
