Great wireless headset for working from home all the time

I was working from home (full or part time) well before COVID and my previous headset was the Jabra Evolve II mono (one ear). I liked it for many reasons: it's light and comfortable, but at the same time it lets me hear what's going on around the house, it sounds great, and the mic sounds great to others, and the easy mute/unmute is amazing. The downside, however, is that it's wired, and if I have to get up to fill my drink or open the door or whatever, I either have to take off my headset or take my computer with me. So I looked for a wireless alternative. I already have Sony's WH-1000XM3 headphones, which are great for gaming and on planes where you really want to block out all other noise, but aren't great for all day use. Also, the sound quality from the microphone is good, but not great. After reading the reviews of the Focus 2 I jumped in and I really like them after 3 weeks of use. They're lightweight and very comfortable, and the active noise cancellation does a good job of blocking out background noise. No, it's not as good as Sony when you want to block out everything else, but it's ok for my home office. The sound quality is excellent and the mic sounds great to everyone else. The range is also excellent with the included wrench. The stand is very easy to drop at the end of the day, and the battery lasts all day (even days if I forget to charge it at night). The barbell is easy to take off when I have a snack. I haven't tried using it with a cell phone or any other bluetooth based system (like my dongleless laptop) as there isn't much need for it yet. Definitely 5 stars overall and I have all the perks of my old Jabra without being tied!
