I thought it would be a nice upgrade over the cotton poncho. nope His sleeves are quite narrow, allowing jewelry and nails to stick to them when dressing and undressing. It breaks very easily. The sleeves stuck to our arms in a way that was uncomfortable and difficult to remove. The "elastic band" on the wrists is literally an elastic band. After wearing them once for part of the day at Disney we threw them in the trash and decided that if it rains again that day we'd rather get wet.
