The bezel makes it truly touchscreen. I can open applications. I can close applications. This is because the touch part is about 8 inches from the screen. Your fingers will work, but I strongly recommend something like a stylus because your fingers are thick enough to miss some touches. Set up was easy, once you assembled it I plugged it into the USB hub provided by the monitor and it worked just like HID was supposed to. You need to calibrate it with Windows 10 if you use multiple monitors for your workspace. The big problem I had was that the bezel could not be attached to the front of the monitor. I bought it for a 43" Dell 4K monitor. The frame fits a 43" but there was no glue, there were no clips, there was nothing. I ended up buying 3m of front mount adhesive strips and left the bottom right corner without them because there was also no solution for monitors with controls on the front of the monitor frame instead of under the monitor. So to change monitor settings or inputs I have to move the frame away from the monitor in the bottom right corner of the crib and put my fingers behind it to press the buttons because I can't read the characters anymore, they're closed. Overall I agree with the purchase, this is a 43 inch 4K touchscreen for less than $700. But leaves room for improvement
