I was looking for a water table for my 23 month old and just couldn't find one that didn't have a million pieces or no lid. ridiculously expensive when I stumbled upon it. It didn't have many reviews back then, so I'm guessing it might be new. We have the same sandbox from Step2 and my daughter loves it! Here's what I like and dislike about this table: the pros - cute design, suitable for a sandbox - good sturdy table for the price - size is great for my toddler and maybe another kid to play without overloading the table - it holds water well and I LOVE that it has a lid like a sandbox (I know it's supposed to be a sand table but for us it works like a water table). Phillips screwdriver that is so far from the truth. There were no pilot holes in the plastic parts so we had to use an electric drill and it took my husband and I quite a bit of effort to get the screw through the plastic legs/tables - the lid sits on these tiny ledges so it doesn't like a sandpit is fully enclosed (not sure why, maybe ventilation?) - the table height is a little lower than I thought and my daughter has to lean at an awkward angle to play (she's probably a little over a meter large) Overall my daughter loves it and keeps her entertained for at least 20 minutes which is great! Other than that, this is a good quality table and I can see it's strong enough to hold a sandbag or two with ease. I'm happy, so is my baby!
