Review on Efficient Application: 3M 08117 MixPac Applicator Gun for 200 ml Cartridges by Brian Cheney

I purchased this product with 3M Scotch Weld 1:1 Adhesive and mixing tips that attach to the adhesive pack. I was very pleased with how easy it was to use and how reliable it seemed to work. I was able to complete the task of fitting new clips to my car's metal frame to hold the plastic side windshield cover that runs between the metal frame and the windshield. It was accurate and spread well with no issues. I took my time dosing the epoxy. I downgraded this to 4 stars only because of the price and I think it's quite confusing, you have to buy a $50-60 product to dose the epoxy which you have to buy separately. I don't understand why it has to cost so much money but you don't have a choice if you want to use an epoxy cartridge. This is a good product, just understand you are overpaying. In my case, it would probably cost me twice as much if the Honda dealer did it, and I had the tools, so it was still a good deal for me.
