The winter season in the Midwest is harsh and it dries out lips like crazy. I was looking for a natural lip balm that would get the job done without having to reapply every hour. The only really positive thing I can say about the Burts Bee Ultra Conditioner is that it is very smooth and feels great on the lips. However, it doesn't last long and I feel like I have to reapply every hour before my lips start to feel dry again. It also has an odd smell, like a citronella candle, which I don't like. This lip moisturizer can work well if you live in a cold climate area, but not during the harsh winters that dry you out.
