The winter season in the Midwest is harsh and it dries out lips like crazy. I was looking for a natural lip balm that would get the job done without having to reapply every hour. The only really positive thing I can say about the Burts Bee Ultra Conditioner is that it is very smooth and feels great on the lips. However, it doesn't last long and I feel like I have to reapply every hour before my lips start to feel dry again. It also has an odd smell, like a citronella candle, which I don't like.

It makes my lips oily. I've been using it for a few days and I still feel the dry texture of my lips, they're just oily on top. Within a minute or two of application my lips start to feel very dry again and I need to reapply. I love the original Burts Bees formula so I decided to try this one but it is terrible. It is hard to find, if at all, in a retail store and the combined action of menthol and eucalyptus provides 100% natural, medicinal rejuvenation for damaged lips and/or protection from harsh cold or dry and arid environments. You can recognize the effect of the slight tingling and the refreshing "cool" feeling of the active ingredients. This should not be confused with Burt's Calming Bees as they are two different products.
