First I love the color. In a world of black and brown bags it's great to have some color. In spite of Xincada's appologies for bad lighting, they did as great job picking this color which is dependent on the light you are seeing it in. In broad daylight I would say it's navy blue with a tinge of purple. In room light it's more navy than purple. I love the many compartments and attention to detail such as a pen pocket, a headphone pass through grommet, many zippered compartments (six zippers overall.) The zippers seem to be good quality and the seller seems to be responsive to dealing with warranty issues. The canvas is very good quality but I will be spraying mine to make it waterproof as it appears to be untreated. The name 'Xincada' was an odd choice as it means lame in Catalonian. I'll bet no one looked that up! Despite the name it's far from lame. It sits squarely in the sweet spot of 'Man Bags'. Not as big as a messenger bag. Much more versatile than a gym bag or a tote. I chose the larger size because I have a 10" Lenovo YogaBook which fits perfectly in the main compartment.
