Review on 🔧 KYB SB108 - Strut Boot: Ultimate Protection in Sleek Black Design by Wesley Holmes

This is the part that is recommended, but it's not a good part to work with.

We purchased these for use with KYB 344611 Excel-G Gas Struts on a 2003 Honda Element. KYB SB108 Strut Covers and KYB 344611 Excel-G Gas Springs are listed as suitable for this vehicle. The KYB bellows decklid did not fit the KYB pillar as the KYB instructions suggested. We were able to compress it according to the instructions but it didn't fit the rack body so it interfered with the movement of the rack shaft. We could turn it upside down to fit the torso, but then it would just fall off and be useless as a support. dust jacket. We were able to zip it up so it appeared to stay in place, but when the strut was compressed, the pull rod slipped and the bellows flapped around the base of the case. The original Element gear didn't use bellows, so we ditched the KYB bellows. The fender is made of soft, soft foam that is brittle to the touch and likely to break down faster than the old and worn OEM fenders that we removed. We used new fenders, but only because we needed to finish the installation. This kit seems like an expensive way to get a really cheap fender for your Honda Element. We'll try to find a better fender next time we do this job. In hindsight, we realized that many of them are sold separately. First we order racks and measure the diameter of the shaft, and then we select a suitable fender.
